Cinnamon is delicious. It’s even more delicious when the weather is cooler. And it becomes even more delicious when you realize how beneficial it is for your health.
There’s a good amount of research on the health benefits of cinnamon.
It’s a great anti-inflammatory
Prevents oxidative stress
It can regulate your blood sugar
May prevent cancer
Can help reduce hair loss (this is for all the postpartum ladies out there).
It can help regulate your menstrual cycle.
It’s the real deal.
Add it to your coffee.
Or your smoothie.
Mix it in with honey, olive oil, or balsamic vinegar to make a dressing.
Or with honey or olive oil to make a hair mask.
Sprinkle it on apples (with or without peanut butter. But everything is better with peanut butter).
You can make it with coffee or almond milk if you’re avoiding caffeine.
-1 cup of coffee or almond milk
-2 teaspoons of cinnamon (or more if ya really like it)
-Dash of Chinese 5 Spice
-2 teaspoons of maple syrup
-1 teaspoon of ghee
Mix together in a blender to get it nice and frothy.
